The north coast of Cornwall is both my home and a huge source of inspiration. Its dramatic cliffs, expansive skies, and restless sea provide an endless dialogue of light and movement that forms the heart of my work.

I like to work both en plein air and in my Newquay studio, my paintings are a direct response to the landscape, observing how the shifting weather and seasons transform the coastline. Painting outdoors allows me to immerse myself in the environment, while the studio provides space to reflect and develop those immediate impressions into more considered works.

My paintings are an exploration of place, light, and memory.

When I’m not painting I can often be found walking or running along the coast path with by Border Collie!
